Winger Has Knee OperationHenry Cameron underwent surgery yesterday on the ruptured anterior cruciate ligament that has ruled him out of action for the remainder of the season.
The winger, 18, sustained the injury on his international debut for New Zealand last month and has since been at Bloomfield Road for physiotherapy.
"He's been coming in doing little bits but that's it now, he's had the operation and it's all about making sure he's on the road to recovery. We'll make sure we help him as much as we can with that," Neil McDonald said.
One player who could be welcomed back prior to the new year is goalkeeper Colin Doyle, who has been out of action with ankle ligament damage.
"The progression on him has been very good and I'm hopeful that he might be available over the Christmas period," the manager added.
