Players Spend Time With KidsThe Blackpool squad spent this afternoon visiting kids at Brian House Children's Hospice and Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
The players, split into two groups, made what are now annual visits ahead of the Christmas holidays with items of club merchandise.
Kyle Letheren, Dean Lyness, Clark Robertson, Emmerson Boyce, Luke Higham, Hayden White, Tom Aldred, Jim McAlister, David Norris, John Herron, Andy Little and Jack Redshaw received a tour of the facilities at Brian House and met children currently being cared for.
"What they do for the families and the kids themselves is priceless," right-back Emmerson Boyce said. "Coming round here and doing our bit today is heartfelt and hopefully we can help to raise awareness of the work being done."
Colin Doyle, David Ferguson, Charles Dunne, Will Aimson, José Cubero, Brad Potts, Jarrett Rivers, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Martin Paterson and Mark Cullen spent time talking to kids on the Children's Ward at Blackpool Vic and presented them with gifts.
"It's not nice being in hospital around Christmas time because you're probably excited about Santa coming, and parents don't want to be here either," goalkeeper Colin Doyle admitted. "I'm pleased that we've come down here today and done our bit to put some smiles on faces."
