Tree Put Up In Memory Of Chris Hull

10 December 2015

Tribute To Former PA Announcer

A Christmas tree has been erected at Bloomfield Road in memory of former PA announcer Chris Hull, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Situated next to the Morty statue, supporters are invited to place their Christmas mementoes next to the tree.

Hull was the voice of Bloomfield Road for 36 years before hanging up his mic in 2006 and his family were at the stadium on Thursday to pay tribute.

Daughter Claire Hull said: “As a family we really appreciate the support the football club has given and for the Christmas tree in dad’s memory.

“It’s next to the Morty statue, which he absolutely loved. As the tree grows we’ll always remember my dad and his memories.”
