Away Days: Blackburn Rovers

19 February 2015

Plan Saturday's Trip

Saturday provides Blackpool with an opportunity to claim a first Ewood Park victory since 1977.

Three points would be the club's first on the road this season, and could be crucial in their bid to avoid the drop.

Here is a quick guide on travelling to Ewood Park.

By Car
Supporters are advised to leave approximately 45 minutes for the trip from Bloomfield Road to Ewood Park, with around 30 miles separating the two clubs.

Nuttall Street,
Blackburn,
Lancashire,
BB2 4JF.

By Train
Supporters can travel directly from Blackpool South to Mill Hill, which is the closest station to Ewood Park. The journey takes just over an hour to make, but the trip can be shortened should fans travel from Blackpool North and change at Preston.

The Stadium
31,367 can fit inside Ewood Park, which was built and opened in 1882.

The record attendance came before the stadium was renovated, as 61,783 turned up to watch an FA Cup quarter final with Bolton Wanderers in 1929.

Blackpool's last trip was a year ago, and saw Rovers win 2-0 thanks to a goal in each half.

Tickets are on sale until 1pm on Friday, but supporters can pay on the gate at Ewood Park with no additional charge.
