Manager On Saturday's Fixture
Lee Clark wants Blackpool to take the positives from Tuesday's performance into tomorrow's clash with Nottingham Forest.
The Seasiders have an immediate opportunity to banish the memory of Middlesbrough's late winner, and victory is the target on Saturday.
“I thought our performance warranted more than it got on Tuesday, we've got to continue with a lot of the good things we did in that game and push from there,” said Clark.
“They've had two good wins since Dougie Freedman has gone in there. They'll be a team full of confidence, six points from six with the new manager, and we have to be ready.”
After conceding twice from set pieces against Boro, Pool have been working hard to ensure they're improved from dead balls on Saturday.
“We've been looking at those before the game on the training ground. No manager wants to concede from set plays.
“The two goals were preventable and the second one was a killer because we were back in the game so late on.
“That was frustrating, but we have to focus again, be ready for Forest and try to get three points,” he said.
