Report: Norwich 4 Blackpool 0
Norwich City breezed past Blackpool at Carrow Road, as Gary Hooper struck a hat-trick and Nathan Redmond hit a screamer to leave Lee Clark's side anchored to the foot of the Championship table.
The Seasiders never looked like causing a surprise after Hooper slotted home the first, and showed little resistance as the striker doubled City's lead before the break.
Then when Peter Clarke floored Lewis Grabban in the area Hooper was able to wrap up the victory, before Redmond bent home a fine free-kick in added time.
Debutant Joe Rothwell's half volley, which John Ruddy flew to keep out, was the best Pool could muster, and they returned home empty handed again.
The first opportunity fell to the visitors at Carrrow Road, but Jamie O'Hara will have been disappointed to not repeat last week's heroics, as his free-kick sailed over. For The Canaries, Grabban dragged an effort into the hands of Ell Parish within the first six minutes.
After penalty appeals were ignored for hosts, Pool broke with pace through Henry Cameron, who set up Steven Davies to shoot at John Ruddy. However with their next attack the hosts went ahead.
12 minutes in Hooper was sent clear of Pool's defence by Jonny Howson and made no mistake when slotting past Parish.
Although The Seasiders did create a number of opening after that point, it didn't take long for City to make it two. Passing it around with ease, their patient build-up play paid dividends when Hooper exchanged passes with Wes Hoolahan before firing home his second.
The hosts were dominating proceeding and saw Grabban denied by the upright, before Tony McMahon cleared from underneath the bar. The defender's cross was then headed wide by Davies at the other end, with the offside flag saving his blushes.
Grabban was desperate to get himself on the scoresheet, and missed a glaring opportunity after 37 minutes, shooting over from Howson's cross, before Redmond fired wide.
The missed chances meant Blackpool went in for the break just two behind.

At the interval Clark opted to throw Rothwell into the action for his Pool debut, with Mark Waddington making way, and Nathan Delfouneso followed for Cameron not long into the second half.
However moments later the result was rubber stamped by the hosts when Clarke clattered into the back of Grabban in the area, and Hooper confidently sent Parish the wrong way from the spot for his hat-trick.
Pool had no answers and Grabban was denied by a smart Parish save, before Redmond shot wide at the back post. Blackpool did muster an attempt themselves, but Ruddy produced a smart save to keep out Rothwell's half volley.
The Seasiders looked demoralised, and their mood further worsened when Clarke failed to scramble home O'Hara's corner.
In added time Tony Andreu forced Parish into another save, before Redmond brilliantly bent home Norwich's four from a free-kick.
