Defender Joins The Seasiders
Blackpool have signed defender Tom Aldred from Accrington Stanley on a 28-day emergency loan.
The move will allow the 24-year-old to be involved against Brighton & Hove Albion today, with a permanent move to follow.
After progressing through the youth system at Carlisle United, the centre half has been with the likes of Watford and Colchester United in the past.
He joined Stanley two years ago, where he worked with Blackpool coach Paul Stephenson, and went on to make 92 consecutive starts.
On the move Aldred said: “After having various moves as a young player I definitely need to stabilise my career.
“I know Stepho obviously from Accrington, he's a good coach so I'm happy to link back up with him.
“I'd like to call myself a steady central defender and consistency is key,” he said.
