Manager Underlines Saturday's Importance
Lee Clark says every Blackpool match is a cup final between now and the end of the season.
The Seasiders go into Saturday's clash with relegation rivals Millwall nine points from safety.
However Clark has called on his players to focus on the individual match, rather than the league table.
“You've got to just deal with the game and not the situation. The extra pressure can hinder you more than help you,” said Clark.
“We all know what the end outcome has got to be come the end of the season, but this is a crucial game for us - they all are, every game now is cup final territory for us.
“It is the proverbial six pointer and we know what we've got to do. It's a huge game, if we can we can win it then it puts pressure on them.”
The Seasiders impressed against Aston Villa last weekend, and now they can take confidence going into league action.
“You give everything and leave nothing in the dressing room, you don't leave anything on the training ground. You don't do great on on a Monday to Friday, but then flop on a Saturday.
“It's all about what happens in a game situation. If my lads can repeat the performance they gave at Villa Park we'll stand a very good chance of getting the result,” said Clark.
