Manchester United Midfielder To Join On Loan
A loan deal has been agreed with Manchester United for Joe Rothwell to join the club until the end of the season.The 20-year-old, who has been at Old Trafford since the age of six, has been a key performer in United's Under-21 league side this season.
"Joe is someone we've been monitoring for a while and I'm pleased that a deal has been agreed. He's very highly regarded at Old Trafford and I'm looking forward to working with him," manager Lee Clark said.
A box-to-box midfielder, Rothwell is expected to link up with The Seasiders on Thursday ahead of a potential debut against Brighton on Saturday.
