Striker Set To Face Former ClubNathan Delfouneso says he had a 'feeling' that Blackpool would face Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old predicted a meeting between the two clubs last month and was delighted when his dream scenario came true.
Quick to jump for joy when the draw was made, the striker is now relishing the game against his former club on Sunday.
"For some reason I had a feeling we'd get Villa in the cup, and as soon as the draw was made I rang my mum and dad. It was funny how it's happened and I can't wait.
"It's something I'm really looking forward to, I haven't been back there since I left. I was at Villa since I was eight-years-old so I was there for a very long time."
Having featured for Villa in the last fixture between the two clubs, Delfouneso hopes to be on target in tangerine this time around.
"I scored for Villa against Blackpool last time and we won that day, too. It would be good to score in a Blackpool shirt there and for us to get through to the next round."
The break from league action will be a welcome one for The Seasiders, with the players going out to cause an upset.
"No one will expect anything from us on Sunday so it's a game we can go and enjoy. It will be a good distraction for everyone and a great chance for us to go and play against a Premier League side," Delfouneso added.
