Defender On Saturday's Trip
Nyron Nosworthy is keen to celebrate securing a fresh Blackpool deal with three points against his former club Watford on Saturday.
The defender extended his stay with The Seasiders on Friday, and is ready to step up his recovery, having taken his place on the bench in recent weeks.
“Even though they're up near the top this league is very funny, we've got nothing to fear,” said Nosworthy.
“We have to show belief and once we get a chance to pass the ball and move it around, we can put them under pressure.
“We're under no allusions that at times our backs will be against the wall, but where we are we have to fight and scrap for everything.”
The 34-year-old spent two full seasons with Watford before departing in the summer, so is relishing his return.
“It's my old stomping ground. They're good memories. It's a nice club with good people, everyone was really supportive and I had a fantastic time there.
“They're a strong team and this season they're going for it, with their result last week they'll be right up for it.
“They're a very good team, they play good expansive football so it'll be a good game,” he said.
