Manager Provides Injury Update
Lee Clark confirmed Darren O'Dea will be fit for Blackpool's trip to Wolves on Saturday.
The defender was withdrawn during the first half of Saturday's win over Millwall, but has reacted well since.
“He has had a good week in terms of treatment and is fine,” said Clark.
“We had a bit of a shock because he's had an ankle problem before, so Darren was concerned when he took a knock.
“He's gradually grown with each game. You only improve by playing games and he has certainly done that.”
Meanwhile the manager provided further positive news on the José Miguel Cubero and Gary MacKenzie injuries.
“We've got a behind-closed-doors game next Tuesday at Leeds United, so they'll be getting some important minutes in that.
“You can do as much of the physical side and fitness sessions on the training pitch, but the only thing that gets you ready for games is actually playing.
“It's an important few weeks for those lads coming up, but I've got no doubt they'll be fine because they're training extremely hard,” he said.
