Look Into The Archives

Blackpool go head-to-head with Millwall on Saturday, with The Seasiders holding a good record on home soil against The Lions in recent seasons.
The two sides have met 45 times over the years, and Blackpool have won the last three clashes at Bloomfield Road.
Here are some key moments from previous meetings.
Classic Goal
Blackpool 2 Millwall 1 – 2 September 1972
Keith Dyson's mazy run played an integral part in Blackpool's opener against Millwall in 1972. Micky Burns was eventually on the end of his cross to put The Seasiders on their way to victory.

Our Last Victory
Blackpool 1 Millwall 0 – 11 March 2014
Ricardo Fuller headed Blackpool's only goal against The Lions in March. Matt Gilks went on to save Steve Morison's penalty as The Seasiders claimed three crucial points.

The Last Meeting
Millwall 2 Blackpool 1 – 30 August 2014
The Lions won the previous meeting at The Den back in August. Scott McDonald and Scott Malone won it for the hosts, despite Nile Ranger pulling a goal back for Pool.
