Shirt Set For First Showing At Lancaster
Blackpool’s brand new tangerine home strip will make its debut in today’s pre-season friendly at Lancaster City.
Designed by Errea and modelled by Charles Dunne, Brad Potts and Mark Cullen, The Seasiders will don pinstripes during the 2015/16 season.
The shirts carry a comfortable grandad collar, embroidered badge, white pinstripes and are rich in details on the collar, both outside and inside.
Traditionally white shorts will accompany the tangerine shirts, while the socks provide a classic look with tangerine and white hoops.
Fabrizio Taddei, Errea’s export manager, said: “We have worked in close cooperation with the club in order to create an elegant shirt with a classic but contemporary look, made in the latest microfiber of technical and breathable polyester with micromesh jacquard.
“It is great for us to be involved with an historic club like Blackpool FC. We hope the fans will like our joint effort to provide a shirt that hopefully will see the club bounce back immediately to The Championship.”
The club is currently in advanced talks with a number of potential shirt sponsors, further details along with an official sale date will be announced in due course.
