Morecambe Striker Joins Pool
Striker Jack Redshaw has completed a move from Morecambe to Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road, with the option of a further year.
Across his three-and-a-half years with Morecambe the striker netted 38 times, including on 12 occasions last season.
Having progressed through the Manchester City academy, Redshaw previously turned out for the likes of Rochdale and Altrincham, before finding his feet at the Globe Arena.
After signing, he said: “I like the way the gaffer is trying to build the club and wants it moving in the right direction.
“I think the time is right to step up into League One, I’m confident in my own ability and want to be successful with Blackpool.”
Redshaw will be hoping to turn out in tangerine for the first time in Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Lancaster City.
