The fixture was agreed as part of the transfer with saw former Spartan Jarrett Rivers join The Seasiders, and is Pool’s second game in four days.
They’ll be looking to build on Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Lancaster City, which provided a positive start to pre-season under the new manager.
New signing Jack Redshaw is expected to feature in tangerine for the first time, while the game will provide further opportunity for the newly assembled squad to gel.
Their opposition Blyth hit the headlines for their FA Cup run last season, which saw them defeat League Two Hartlepool United, before bowing out to Birmingham City in the third round.
Tow Wade’s side finished just outside of the play-offs in Northern Premier League Premier Division last season, meaning they’ll compete in the seventh tier again this campaign.
In their current side Michael Richardson and Stephen Turnbull both have Football League experience and they were only beaten by a single goal in a friendly with Carlisle United last week.
