Pre-Season Continues In Scotland

Fixture: Ross County vs Blackpool
Date: 22 July 2015, 3pm

Blackpool continue their pre-season schedule with a behind-closed-doors friendly against Ross County on Wednesday.

The Scottish Premier League side will travel to Pool’s Stirling base, where Neil McDonald’s men have spent the last two days training.

The Seasiders take a 100 per cent record into Wednesday’s game, having beaten Lancaster City and Blyth Spartans in their opening two friendlies of the summer.

It’s the first of two fixtures pencilled in by Blackpool above the border, with a trip to St Johnstone still to come at the weekend.

Ross County, who finished ninth in the SPL last term, have recently returned from a training camp in Hungary.

Jim McIntyre’s side drew 1-1 with Soroksar out there, after beating Elgin City and Nairn County back in Scotland.

He’s recently appointed former Bradford City defender Andrew Davies as his captain, while Jonathan Franks, formerly of Middlesbrough, and ex-Tranmere Rovers striker Craig Curran are also at his disposal.
