Manager Progressing With List

18 June 2015

Recruitment Drive Continues

Neil McDonald is continuing to work through his main target list as he looks to add to the four new faces he's recruited so far.

Having signed Colin Doyle, Kyle Letheren, Brad Potts and Clark Robertson, the manager is keen to assemble the base of his side in time for pre-season on 29 June.

"Every target I've gone for so far I've got, which is great," he told the official website. "We haven't moved to Plan B yet, we have a number of players on the A List and we've done well with that so far. We've got plenty of irons in the fire and it's just a case of trying to get as close as we possibly can to bring them in as quick as we can.

"There's lots of people available, whether it's on the released list or not, and the club's willing to buy players as well, as we've done with Brad. We've got fantastic options."

The manager's main focus has been on the playing side of the club since taking charge earlier this month, however he is closing on the appointment of a goalkeeping coach.

"I'm just waiting for an answer from the goalkeeping coach that I want to come in because he's top drawer. If he doesn't come in, I've got another top drawer one ready to come in," he added.
