Coaches and Scouts Required

Blackpool FC Academy is currently looking to recruit part-time academy coaches to join the department.

Successful candidates must be hard working, enthusiastic, flexible and possess a good knowledge of coaching youth football.
 
The vacant roles require the minimum following qualifications:
 
- UEFA B (Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Football)
- FA Youth Award Modules 1 and 2 (Module 3 is desirable)
- Emergency Aid Qualified
 
The roles available vary from coaching Under-9 players to Under-16s so candidates must specify their particular expertise when applying for the roles.

All applicants will be notified if they are selected to attend an interview with the Academy Manager and Head of Academy Coaching.
 
All candidates will be required to complete an enhanced CRB check.

The Academy is also on the lookout for new Talent Identification scouts to join the recruitment team.
 
Voluntary roles, these are ideally suited to people with a keen interest in grass roots football who feel they have an eye for a player and are enthusiastic for Blackpool FC to recruit the best young players in the North West.
 
Key areas for additional scouts are: Blackpool and the Fylde / Preston / East Lancashire / Merseyside / Lancaster and Greater Manchester.
 
Appropriate candidates must be willing to watch schoolboy fixtures on Saturdays and Sundays and report to either the Head of Local Recruitment or Head of Academy Recruitment.
