Manager's Pre-Leeds Thoughts
Lee Clark says Blackpool are still preparing for matches in the correct manner, as they look to end their poor form against Leeds United on Saturday.
The Seasiders' relegation worries worsened with defeat on Tuesday, but the manager confirmed there has been no easing up on the training pitch.
“With every defeat you have it's horrendous,” said Clark. “We're still preparing and doing the right things.
“You've got professional pride. We want to get a win as soon as possible. We want to finish the season off on a relative high, even though it's nothing to celebrate.
“The players have got to try and get out of this mentality of losing games. We've got an extremely tough game tomorrow, but one we can win if we approach it in the right way.”
Clark was less than impressed by his side's sloppy defending on Tuesday, and insists they must change that against the Yorkshiremen.
“We have to cut out the indifferent decision making and individual errors that cost us getting something from the game on Tuesday.
“In the first half Charlton had two attacks at our goal, one from a counter attack from our set play, and another which resulted in them going in 1-0 up. We've got to cut errors out of our game to have any chance of winning,” he added.
