Winger On Loan Move To Pool
Michael Jacobs is keen to make the most of the rest of the season, after joining Blackpool on loan until May.
The winger has endured a stop-start campaign at his parent club Wolves, therefore jumped at the opportunity to get some minutes at Bloomfield Road.
After making his debut at the weekend, Jacobs has back-to-back home games to showcase his talent, and is relishing the challenge.
“There's still nine games to go, so there's still quite a big chunk of the season left,” said Jacobs. “I'm looking forward to it and hopefully it will be a good experience.
“I've been at this level with Derby and Wolves. Now I want some games under my belt and hopefully I can help the boys out here.”
The 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes of Pool's defeat at Bournemouth, but now he is keen to register three points on his home debut this evening.
“We conceded sloppy goals at the wrong times. Bournemouth are flying high at the top of the league, so if you give them the opportunities then they're going to take them
“It was always going to be a tough place to go, but it was a shame about the performance we put in. Hopefully with a game coming around on Tuesday night it will give us an opportunity to put that right,” Jacobs added.
