What's Going On At Bloomfield Road

Preparing for a first trip to Bloomfield Road? Find out the usual routine of a matchday at the home of Blackpool FC here.

It all kick-offs at 9am on a Saturday matchday, with plenty going on at Bloomfield Road all the way until 5pm – and the same goes for a Tuesday night.

Get yourself set for the big day with our matchday timetable for a typical Saturday afternoon or mid-week fixture for The Seasiders.

9:00/9:00 | Ticket Office Opens
Pop into the ticket office to pick up tickets for the match or claim your space for upcoming away games, both on the coach and in the stadium. It's also the place to sign up to the club's membership scheme or to get any young supporters involved with the Young Seasiders. Tickets can also be bought on the ticket office's website

9:00/9:00 | Club Shop Opens 
Pick up the latest Pool merchandise from the club shop, which is stocked full with everything from replica shirts to golf balls. Young visitors can also make use of their hard-earned pocket money with a number of attractive products including keyrings, rubber ducks and bedding. Alternatively supporters can purchase Blackpool products on the club shop's website

12:00/18:00 | Family Room Opens
Young supporters can get entertained prior to kick-off in our designated family room located inside the Seasiders Bar. Activities include table football, pool and various other games. Each week members of the Blackpool first-team, as well as Bloomfield Bear, are on hand to pose for photographs, sign autographs and socialise with the supporters. 

12:00/18:00 | Seasiders Bar Opens
Parents can enjoy some pre-match refreshments while their children are in the adjoining family room. A range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are on offer, as well as food, all which are reasonably priced. 

13:30/18:15 | Players Arrive
Blackpool's players arrive at Bloomfield Road for a pre-match meeting with the coaching staff, and prepare themselves for the warm-up. 

13:30/18:15 | Turnstiles Open
Bloomfield Road is now open and supporters can begin to enter the stadium and soak up the pre-match atmosphere. Inside a varying range of food and drinks are on offer, while the concourses are scattered with TVs for further entertainment. 

13:30/18:15 | Away Ticket Booth Opens
Visiting supporters can purchase match tickets on the day (subject to availability) from the away ticket booth, which is located next to the away end. 

14:00/18:45 | Big Screen/Music
Throughout the warm-up you'll be kept entertained with our pre-match playlist, playing a mix of music around Bloomfield Road. Also the big screen in the South-West corner of the stadium will be playing various videos and goal compilations from over the years. At the same time the team line-ups will be announced over the PA system and displayed on the screen.

14:15/19:00 | Players Begin Warm-Up
The two sets of teams take to the Bloomfield Road surface for their pre-match warm-up. Blackpool's players usually warm up at the North Stand-end of the stadium, where they'll be put through their paces during a series of drills.

14:15/19:00 | Bloomfield Bear Arrives
Blackpool mascot Bloomfield Bear will be out and about meeting young supporters before the game, posing for photographs along the way. He'll also be handing out certificates to any Young Seasiders members who are attending a Blackpool game for the first time. 

14:30/19:15 | Send Us Your Pics
Get in touch on social media to show your pre-match experience through pictures and videos, and we'll share the best of them. Meanwhile the pre-match build-up will be going on on social media, particularly Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

14:45/19:30 | Teams Go In
Both sets of players go in for their final team talk and to get changed into their strips. Get yourself comfortable and ready for the match.

14:50/19:35| Pitch Activities
Young supporters add to the pre-match atmosphere by waving a giant Blackpool shirt over the centre circle, before welcoming the players onto the pitch through a sea of tangerine flags. Elsewhere the mascots of both clubs take part in a kick around on the pitch before leading the teams out. 

15:00/19:45 | Kick-Off
It's time for the main event to get under way. Cheer the lads on to what will hopefully be three Blackpool points. 

17:00/21:45 | Full-Time
The players leave the field after the full-time whistle and it's time to head home.
