Midfielder On Blooding In Youngsters
Jamie O'Hara says the youthful side of Blackpool's team is providing a rare bright spark in the club's tough ending to the campaign.
The midfielder is one of the few experienced names in Lee Clark's current side. Surrounded by youngster, O'Hara feels it's the correct way forward for The Seasiders.
“You're better off blooding the young players in, getting them involved, then hopefully we can try and finish the season with a few positives,” said O'Hara.
“On Saturday we took some positives, as we had a young team out there with a lot of inexperience.
“It's difficult now at the end of the season, so it's an opportunity for the players to show the manager what they've got for next season.”
The Seasiders suffered another defeat at the weekend, meaning O'Hara and colleagues left Bloomfield Road frustrated.
“It's difficult. Obviously everyone is giving 100 percent, we want to get results for the club, but it is hard out there when things aren't going your way.
“You're obviously really down about the situation we're in in the league, it's difficult to keep going and keep trying to get results.
“All we can do is keep working hard together and keep working hard for the manager. Hopefully we'll try and end on a positive note,” he added.
