Striker Answers Quick-Fire Questions

Kwame Thomas came off the bench to make his 17th appearance of the season last night at Bradford City.

The striker, currently on loan from Derby County until January, has been an impact player so far and is determined to win a regular place in the starting line-up.

The England Under-20 international sat down with the club recently to reveal more about his experiences to date, as well as some of his favourites things.

If you were the dressing room DJ, what three songs would be on your pre-match playlist?

Monster by Meek Mill, My Moment by DJ Drama and a slow one, I Believe by Fantasia.

What is your favourite piece of football memorabilia that you own?

My debut England shirt when I played for the under-16s.

Favourite away stadium that you like playing at?

The stadium where I made my debut, Leeds. 

Who is the biggest name in your phonebook?

I’m going to say Boycey and make him happy. He’s an FA Cup winner.

To date, what is your most embarrassing moment in football?

When I missed an open goal for Derby’s under-21s last season. It was against Arsenal and I headed wide after chasing down the keeper. I had a lot of time on the replay as well.

What is the best sporting event that you’ve watched live?

Arsenal vs Liverpool when Aaron Ramsey scored a banger two years ago.

What were your first pair of football boots?

Gold and white Total 90s.

What TV series are you currently addicted to watching?

Prison Break.

Including yourself, what four players in world football would be in your five-a-side team?

I’d have Marcel Desailly and Patrick Vieira in defence and Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry up front.
