Up The Pool On Sale
Exciting winger Bright Osayi-Samuel and striker Jack Redshaw make the cover of Saturday’s official matchday programme, as Blackpool prepare to host Crewe Alexandra.
The duo are seen celebrating Redshaw’s strike in mid-week, and Osayi-Samuel sits down for a feature interview inside.
The 17-year-old has experienced a whirlwind time since arriving at Bloomfield Road at the start of last season and talks about his break into the first-team.
He said inside: “Playing in The Championship gave me good experience because I was used to the tempo of the first-team. Now the Gaffer has put his trust in me and I’ve got to repay it. I feel confident when I come on because I know I have his backing. I’m able to play with no fear and express myself.”
It’s the winger edition this week, with Jarrett Rivers the other player interviewed inside on settling back into life back in professional football.
Rivers said inside: “The tempo is obviously faster than I’m used to because I’ve been in non-league where quite a few teams play long ball stuff. There’s a shorter passing game here and that suits my game more because I’m a footballer who likes the ball on the ground so that I can run at people.”
Elsewhere inside, Kwame Thomas goes Under The Spotlight with our ten quick questions, while Kyle Letheren shares the top six moments of his career to date.
Neil McDonald provides his usual pre-match notes and Ryan Colclough provides the Crewe perspective for the away section.
Available from around Bloomfield Road, Up The Pool is designed by O Publishing and available for £3.
