The Latest Up The Pool
Midfielders John Herron and Henry Cameron front Up The Pool, Blackpool’s official matchday programme, for the visit of Millwall on Tuesday.
Inside are captain David Ferguson and Derby County loanee Kwame Thomas, who go under the spotlight in our feature interviews.
Ferguson, who has featured in every league match for Pool this season, discusses his role as skipper and flourishing as a modern day left-back.
He said inside: “I’m not one to be shouting and balling at the lads, I’ll just be providing encouragement and trying to keep everyone going constantly. It’s a learning curve for me as well, I’m gaining more experience each week from being captain and I can take it into our dressing room.”
Meanwhile, Thomas has proved effective off the bench in recent weeks and has featured 13 times for The Seasiders this campaign, so is satisfied with how his loan stint is going.
“When you come out on loan you can gain experience from different things. It’s my first time being with a first-team training every single day and when you’re out of the team, you need to impress when you come on and show what you can do,” said Thomas.
Elsewhere, Cameron goes Under The Spotlight and Brad Potts talks Up The Pool through the top six moments of his career with Carlisle and Blackpool.
As for Millwall, Steve Morison is interviewed ahead of his return to Bloomfield Road and talks us through each of his team mates.
As usual there is a full section for Young Seasiders and Neil McDonald provides his pre-match notes.
Designed by O Publishing and priced at £3, Up The Pool is now available from around Bloomfield Road.
