Doyle And Boyce Feature Inside
Strike duo Mark Cullen and Jack Redshaw front the official matchday programme, Up The Pool, for Saturday’s clash with Swindon Town at Bloomfield Road.
Seen celebrating Cullen’s strike against Chesterfield on Tuesday, Pool are now going in search of back-to-back victories.
The fixture also saw Colin Doyle claim his second clean sheet as a Blackpool player and the stopper is interviewed on side, discussing both football and family matters.
“I thought about moving from Birmingham in the past, but with my little lad being ill and it never felt like the right time. Thankfully he’s much better these days and that gave me peace of mind when I decided to leave and join Blackpool,” he said inside.
The Irishman is joined inside by experienced defender Emmerson Boyce, who is enjoying life at Bloomfield Road and showing his appreciation for the game.
Boyce said: “Part of football in general is about enjoying yourself and playing with a smile. There’s a lot of things going on in the world and we’ve got to take what we do as a blessing.”
Meanwhile, John Herron goes Under The Spotlight and David Norris talks readers through the top six moments of his career, including a stunning injury-time equaliser at Southampton.
As usual there is the usual section for Young Seasiders and Neil McDonald provides his pre-match notes.
Designed by O Publishing and priced at £3, Up The Pool is now available from around Bloomfield Road.
