The Under-11s travelled away to Fillies with a number of players making their debuts. Both teams produced some fantastic football in a match filled with skill, determination and power. Special mention goes to Melissa Forsen, who made her debut in goal and was outstanding. Well done girls, keep up the good work.
Man of the Match: Alice O'Brien
The Under-13s travelled to Lostock Hall, though neither team managed to break the deadlock before half-time. Blackpool went a goal up within five minutes of the second-half after good play from Sophie Hughes, whose pass found Darcy Barratt to put The Seasiders ahead. Next it was Abi Neale making her debut who set up Barratt to score a second. Barratt then unleashed a powerful strike which got deflected and found the bottom corner of Lostock's goal. Blackpool's fourth came from good play from Barratt whose lay-off for Sophie Hughes to finish. Blackpool weren't finished yet, as Megan Hunter went on a fantastic run and finished well for Blackpool's fifth. Overall a great performance and a nice start to the season.

The Under-14s had their first fixture of the season at home to Academy Juniors. They started brightly with long spells of possession and on 20 minutes Sheneill Lymer found the bottom corner with a fierce strike to give the team the lead. Blackpool's second came from Sophie Slater, who received the ball from the goalkeeper and went on a solo run to neatly finish and make it 2-0.
Blackpool's third came from some fantastic build-up play in the second-half, as Natasha Webster got herself on the score sheet with a calm finish. Lymer found the back of the net to score the fourth of the afternoon, before pulled back a consolation goal with a few minutes left on the clock. Well done girls, a winning start to the season.
