Defender Reveals More About Himself

Clark Robertson helped the team keep their 14th clean sheet of the season last Saturday, havingstruck up a solid partnership with Tom Aldred.

The 22-year-old defender, who moved to Bloomfield Road from Aberdeen, has managed 36 appearances so far this season and is set to face the team he made his Blackpool debut against, Colchester United, on Saturday. 

Here he reveals a bit more about himself:

If you were putting the music on in the dressing room, what three songs would be on your pre-match playlist to get you up for the match?

I’m not one for listening to music to be honest, just anything that’s popular in the charts. Justin Bieber is pretty popular in the dressing room.  

What is your favourite piece of football memorabilia that you own?

Either Steven Naismith’s top or the top of Steve Davis from when I played against Rangers.  

Favourite away stadium that you like playing at?

Ibrox, Rangers.    

Who is the biggest name in your phonebook?

John Herron. 

To date, what is your most embarrassing moment in football?

Probably when I was playing for Aberdeen against St Johnstone, Stevie May was playing for them at the time and I tried to play the ball back to the keeper but it ended up being a through ball for him to score. We got beat 1-0. 

What is the best sporting event that you’ve watched live?

Barcelona against Rangers at the Nou Camp in the Champions League. 

What were your first pair of football boots?

Adidas Predators, David Beckham’s old ones. 

What TV series are you addicted to watching?

The People vs OJ Simpson.

Including yourself, what four players in world football would be in your five-a-side team?

Paolo Maldini, Zinedine Zidane, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.
