Manager On Clash With Fleetwood TownNeil McDonald says Blackpool's clash against Fleetwood Town tomorrow will come down to who handles the pressure best.
The teams are separated by two points going into the fixture at Highbury Stadium and a result for either side could go a long way to helping secure League One status.
"It's a massive game and a pressure game for both teams. It'll be about whoever handles the pressure best and sticks the ball in the back of the net," McDonald admitted.
"Everybody knows the significance of the game. We're totally focused and concentrated on this match against Fleetwood."
The Seasiders are well versed to must-win situations against rivals at the bottom, with the manager drawing on the last two crunch scenarios for inspiration.
"We have a good experience of it because the Crewe and Doncaster games away from home were must-win games. We certainly took the points from those and we now need the same performances and result against Fleetwood."
Though nursing a few bumps and bruises in his squad, McDonald already knows which players will take to the field for the fixture and has been determined to give them plenty of preparation time.
"I picked the team on Tuesday," he revealed. "We have been working with the team on what Fleetwood do and how we can break Fleetwood down. We'll be well prepared."
