Manager Calls For Vocal Backing At RochdaleNeil McDonald has called on the Blackpool fans to give the players their full support in the battle to get back above the line in League One.
The manager is urging the supporters to drive the team on for the final four games of the season, as The Seasiders look to secure their status in the division.
"The last two away games have been well supported, the crowd got behind the team and I'm asking them to get behind the team again. We need them, we need them to forget about the issues and support the team for 90 minutes," McDonald said ahead of tomorrow's game at Rochdale.
"The players have always shown resolve and character and they've shown a response after we've been beaten. We certainly all need to stick together and we all need to support the players as much as we can."
The Seasiders head to Spotland having won consecutive league games on the road for the first time since February 2012. Another away result is now required to lift the side out of the relegation zone.
"We're certainly full of confidence away from home, the last two games have been under severe pressure against Crewe and Doncaster and we've handled that very well with the two victories that we've had.
"We can only get ourselves out of this predicament that we're in and we're working extremely hard to make sure that we move back up that league."
Only Henry Cameron remains unavailable for the game this weekend, leaving the manager with a decision on whether to stick with a side that has been unchanged for the past four matches.
"Everyone has been nice and sharp in training so there is a little bit of a conundrum on who to play, but let's not forget that over the last five games we've took 10 points and that's good form.
"Everybody is ready and raring to go, so let's see how we get on against Rochdale."
