Four Up For The Vote
Blackpool supporters can now vote for their March Player of the Month, with four men up for the vote.
The Seasiders claimed crucial victories over Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers in March, and picked up points against Chesterfield and Bury.
Much of Blackpool’s recent improved defensive performances have coincided with the return of Clark Robertson, who was particularly impressive against Chesterfield and Doncaster.
David Norris put in a collection of typically hard-working performances and was denied by the woodwork at both Chesterfield and Doncaster.
Jim McAlister has been a mainstay during the month, putting in a shift from a wide position and he played his part in Blackpool’s opening goal at Crewe.
A big positive of the last month has been the emergence of Luke Higham. The left-back made his first Football League appearance against Coventry City and kept the shirt for the following four games.
