White: No Fear On The Road

14 April 2016

Defender On Form Away From Home

Hayden White says Blackpool must take their recent good away form to Rochdale with them and build on it at Spotland.

The Seasiders have won their last two games on the road, at Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers, but sit in the bottom four going into the weekend.

A regular since arriving on loan from Bolton Wanderers in the autumn, White is looking for more joy on his travels this weekend.

“We’ve won our last two away games so I don’t think there’s any worries in the camp,” he revealed. “The mood’s good in the changing room.

“We don’t care how we win or how the ball goes in the back of the net. Our away form is something we’ll be looking to take into Saturday.

“No club wants to get relegated and this is a huge, huge club. Nobody in that changing room wants to get relegated and we all know the task ahead.”

Blackpool know three points could take them out of the bottom and White is fully aware of the task ahead for those in tangerine.

“I don’t really think we should be down there, we’ve lost and dropped points in places we shouldn’t have dropped points.

“Ultimately that’s why we’re down there so that’s definitely something we know we need to change in the next four games.

“I think we’ve got enough in the changing room. Everyone knows we need to win games so hopefully that’s what we can do,” he said.
