Bowyer: Valuable Experience For Youth Players

Manager On Work Experience Loans

Gary Bowyer says the opportunity for the club's youth players to go out on loan and experience men's football is extremely valuable.

The manager, who comes from a strong background in youth development, has been planning a pathway with Ciaran Donnelly to get the under-18s game time in the Northern Premier League divisions.

Youth team captain Caleb Richards has joined Marine with team-mate Denzel Williams, while midfielder Christian N'Guessan recently completed a loan switch to Bamber Bridge.

"It's something so valuable for the young lads to get out and experience. It's the next stage from playing in the youth system to playing where it really, really matters on a Saturday," Bowyer said.

"It's a great opportunity for them. The quicker we can get them subjected to real football, the better it is for us."
