Date | 6 December 2016
Venue | The Keepmoat Stadium

Preview
Focus swings to the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night as Blackpool head to Doncaster Rovers looking to progress in their second cup competition of the week.

The Seasiders are into the third round of the FA Cup and now want to reach the same stage of the Checkatrade Trophy, after progressing through the group stage.

Gary Bowyer’s men picked up five points, two of which came in the final group game at Goodison Park, to set up a trip to League Two leaders Doncaster.

Recent Form
Pool beat Brackley Town at the weekend to see them progress in the Emirates FA Cup. Their recent league form has been strong too, with Bowyer’s side picking up nine points from the last 12 available.

Doncaster edged a seven-goal thriller with Stevenage at the weekend to move to the summit of League Two. That was their fourth on the trot in league action, while a 0-0 draw with Port Vale saw them progress in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Team News
Colin Daniel will once again miss out for The Seasiders, who are nursing a large number of knocks after Saturday’s tough cup tie. The likes of Dean Lyness and Jack Redshaw will be pushing for minutes after returning to training recently.
