Striker Previews Bradford Clash
Mark Cullen says Blackpool will leave no stone unturned in their bid to get back to winning ways against Bradford City on Saturday.
Recent results have seen The Seasiders slip to within a point of the League One relegation zone but they’re back at Bloomfield Road this weekend.
Neil McDonald's men come up against a Bradford City side with play-off aspirations, but Cullen insists Blackpool must concentrate on themselves.
“Everyone in that dressing room needs to stand up and be counted and take responsibility for what’s happening,” he explained.
“Our form across the season, we’ve picked up three or four good results in a row but then hit a little blip.
“We’re into the latter stage of the season now so every point is a good point and we have to try to go out on Saturday and bring three in.”
The striker is now over the hamstring injury picked up last month and has backed himself for a return to form, despite going seven games without a goal.
“I scored just before Christmas and picked up a little injury so missed a few games, and to be honest I’ve been trying to get my match fitness back up.
“I’ve had a few chances in the last few games but I’ve got to score some more goals and hopefully it starts on Saturday.
“We have been scoring a lot more goals but we’ve started conceding as well, which we need to stop. We need to keep concentrating on sticking the ball in the back of the net,” he added.
