Learn Move About The Defender

Having made his move from Hull City permanent last month, Will Aimson has cemented a place in the Blackpool side in recent weeks.

If you were the dressing room DJ, what three songs would be on your pre-match playlist?
Young Thug – With That, Adele – Hello and Justin Bieber – What Do You Mean?

What is your favourite piece of football memorabilia that you own?
When I was a kid I went to Spain and watched their Under-19s and Gerard Pique was playing. The ball went over the stand I ran around and got it, it was a Euro 2004 ball.

What is your favourite away stadium to play at?
I’d say Middlesbrough’s. I played there with Hull’s Under-21s, the pitch is lovely and it can fit loads of fans in.

What is the biggest name in your phonebook?
I’d say Tom Huddlestone.

What can you remember about your first job?
I was a paper boy and fell off my bike too many times. When it was icy I’d be flying round corners. 20 papers, £22 a week.

To date, what is your most embarrassing moment in football?
Easily my debut last season for Tranmere. The ball got switched, and the guy’s shot has hit the goalkeeper, I’ve had to try and head it but it’s flown into our top corner. That was ten minutes into my Football League debut.

What is the best sporting event that you’ve watched live?
When I was younger I went to Old Trafford in the days of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Roy Keane – the boys were out! They battered Sheffield Wednesday and were brilliant that day.

What were your first pair of football boots?
I’m going to say Total90s, red and white.

What TV series are you addicted to currently?
I’ve just finished Sons of Anarchy but Entourage is my all-time favourite.

Including yourself, what four players in world football would be in your 5-a-side team?
Manuel Neuer, Zinedine Zidane, the proper Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
