Latest Up The Pool
In-form striker Danny Philliskirk fronts Saturday’s edition of Up The Pool, with Bradford City in town.
Philliskirk has bagged in two of his last three games and is seen celebrating his penalty at Swindon Town last weekend.
Inside, the focus of the main interviews are Henry Cameron and Uche Ikpeazu, who sit down for an update.
Cameron is three months down the line with his injury recovery and provides an update on his progress and international aspirations.
He explained: “The recovery’s going really well. I should be running within the next couple of weeks which is the next target. I did a lot of upper body work to start with. I had to build up my strength because League One’s a physical league so I needed to get stronger.”
He is joined inside by Ikpeazu, who has been used off the bench since his arrival on loan from Watford last month.
On improving, Ikpeazu said: “I stay out on the training pitch working hard with Richie Kyle and he’s been brilliant with me, helping me to work on my finishing which I appreciate. I’m trying to develop my skills and I feel as though Blackpool haven’t seen the best of my yet at all.”
Elsewhere, Mark Yeates talks us through the top six moments of his career and Jack Redshaw is in the spotlight.
Former Seasider Tony McMahon provides the away perspective, while Neil McDonald provides his usual pre-match notes.
All this and much, much more is available for just £3 from around Bloomfield Road.
