Programme Preview: Oldham Athletic

16 February 2016

Latest Up The Pool

Will Aimson fronts the latest edition of Up The Pool as Blackpool prepare for their rearranged Oldham Athletic fixture on Tuesday night.

Inside we hear from David Norris and Tom Aldred, who are hoping The Seasiders can bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Shrewsbury Town.

Norris sits down to discuss being one of the elder statesmen in the Pool squad and his continued hunger in the game.

“I’m enjoying being the elder statesman and trying to have an influence in that capacity. I’m one of the older players and have played quite a few games over my career so it’s something that comes naturally,” he explained.

He is joined by defender Tom Aldred, who has called on Blackpool to respond in the right way with the correct result this evening.

He said inside: “It’s important that we move on quickly but also learn from it. We’ve been in similar situations this season, so we’ll take lessons from it and look to put things right against Oldham.”

Elsewhere, we hear from Neil McDonald and Jarrett Rivers, while the away perspective comes from Liam Kelly and Jonathan Forte.

There’s the usual Young Seasiders and history sections, and much, much more inside.

Designed by O Publishing and priced at £3, Up The Pool is now available from around Bloomfield Road.
