Defender Swaps Hull For Blackpool
Will Aimson has turned his loan move from Hull City into a permanent one for an undisclosed fee.The defender, 21, officially joins Blackpool on a two-and-a-half year contract, with the club holding an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
Aimson, who first arrived at Bloomfield Road in November, has made six starts for The Seasiders and featured as a holding midfielder in victories against Wigan Athletic and Peterborough United.
Naturally a centre-back, he lined up for Blackpool in that position against Port Vale last weekend.
"We've worked hard behind the scenes to secure his signature for the long-term and I'm delighted that the deal is now done," manager Neil McDonald said.
"He's a good, young defender with lots of potential and we'll try and get that potential out of him as much as we possibly can."
