First Up The Pool Of 2016
Will Aimson and Colin Doyle are the subject of the main interviews inside the first Up The Pool of 2016.
The pair are expected to feature against Port Vale tomorrow, as Pool look for their first win in three matches.
Aimson, who’s current loan runs until this weekend, has appeared five times for The Seasiders and has enjoying being part of a senior set-up.
“It’s exactly what I’m here for, to be in the first-team environment and experiencing the highs and lows.
“At Hull the Under-21s are at a different location to the first-team, so it can get frustrating at times and I needed to get out and get some games,” he said inside.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Doyle returned from an ankle injury last weekend and was relieved to be back in action.
“My New Year’s resolution was not to get anymore injuries, I want to keep injury-free and play all the games between now and the end of the season,” he said.
Elsewhere, Hayden White, fresh from extending his Pool loan, goes Under The Spotlight, while Mark Cullen and Martin Paterson discuss the squad’s New Year’s resolutions.
As for Port Vale, skipper Carl Dickinson provides the away perspective and talks readers through his teammates.
As usual there is a full section for Young Seasiders and Neil McDonald provides his pre-match notes.
Designed by O Publishing and priced at £3, Up The Pool is now available from around Bloomfield Road.
