Look At Saturday's Edition
Midfield duo Jim McAlister and Brad Potts front the official matchday programme for Saturday’s clash with Scunthorpe United.
The pair are set to face The Iron looking to reignite Blackpool’s form, after three consecutive defeats either side of the turn of the year.
Inside readers can catch up with Jack Redshaw and Lloyd Jones, who are the subjects of the main interviews.
Redshaw returned form a shin injury against Port Vale last week and discusses time on the side lines and the birth of his new daughter.
He said: “I came on and got through the rest of the game so I was happy. It was ideal fitness-wise because I needed the minutes after being out for a few weeks and the best way to improve your fitness is through playing games.”
Lloyd Jones is continuing his rehabilitation from ankle and knee injuries at Liverpool and the end is in sight for the Blackpool loanee.
“I’ve got a two-week plan of conditioning so hopefully I’ll be back training fully after that. I’m a week away from partial training at the moment and even though it’s been really hard to run, it’s worth it because I’m determined to come back stronger,” he said.
Elsewhere, Will Aimson goes Under The Spotlight and Tom Aldred discusses the top six moments of his career to date.
Former Seasider Neal Bishop provides the away perspective and talks readers through his current Scunthorpe team mates.
As usual there is a full section for Young Seasiders and Neil McDonald provides his pre-match notes.
