New Home Kit Revealed

23 July 2016

To Be Worn Against Blackburn Rovers Today

Blackpool’s new home kit for the 2016/17 season will make its first official appearance in a pre-season friendly against Blackburn Rovers today.

The kit, modelled by Mark Cullen, Clark Robertson and Andy Taylor, has been designed by Errea and features the logo of new shirt sponsor tp.

The shirts carry a comfortable V neck collar, embroidered badge, and are rich in details on the collar, both inside and outside. A mesh insert on the side of the chest helps to regulate body temperature.

A new addition to the shirt this season comes down the sides, with a micro-perforated textured fabric with breathable properties, providing additional comfort to the yarn of the rest of the shirt.

Fabrizio Taddei, Erreà Export Manager, explained: “For the home shirt the goal was to design a simple but contemporary look replica. The shirt is made using our renowned Mundial fabric, a highly technical fabric, also used by other clubs in the highest professional leagues of Italy, Spain and France.”

The kit is rounded off with white shorts and tangerine socks that have a white insert on the upper part.

An on-sale date for the kit will be announced in due course.
