Bowyer Making His Stamp
The home changing room at Bloomfield Road has received a face lift ahead of the 2016/17 season.
Personalised to more of a Blackpool theme, manager Gary Bowyer has had club crests and lettering added to the walls above the player pegs and in the showers.
On the new look, Bowyer said: “Every manager brings a different style and approach to things, and I just felt that the home dressing room needed a bit more identity.
“The club has some brilliant pictures on the tunnel walls reflecting its history and success, but the dressing room was an area that required a bit more character."
“Tradition is important at a football club and it’s vital that the players relate to that. I had the same philosophy at Blackburn Rovers, which is why I brought the same company in to do what, I have to say, is a fantastic job,” said Bowyer.
The redecorated base for The Seasiders will be put to the test when they face Blackburn Rovers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
