Midfielder Agrees Blackpool ContractColin Daniel has become Blackpool's third signing in as many days by agreeing a one-year deal at the club, with the option of a further year.
The versatile midfielder, 28, will join the club once his contract expires at Port Vale, having made 55 appearances in two seasons for The Valiants.
Previously with Macclesfield Town and Mansfield Town, Daniel achieved promotion with the latter in 2013 and returned to the club on loan last season to score twice in nine games.
He arrives at Bloomfield Road with a determination to help The Seasiders bounce back from the disappointment of last season's relegation.
"I had a good few years at Port Vale and enjoyed my time there and made a lot of friends, but this is now a new challenge at Blackpool," Daniel admitted. "Hopefully I can come here, do well for the team and we can push on for promotion and get this club back to where it should be.
"I've got a lot of memories of this league and I know what it takes to be up there and around the play-offs. Hopefully we can get promoted."
The winger's know-how of the division will no doubt prove beneficial, with manager Gary Bowyer looking for the right players to make an impact.
"Colin had the choice of a few clubs and I'm pleased that he's opted to join us," the manager said. "He has good experience at League One and League Two level and is comfortable playing in a number of positions.
"He offers pace, energy and creativity out wide and will be a great asset to have in the team."
