Club Shows Its SupportBlackpool's game against Coventry City on Saturday is dedicated to the work of Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation.
Activities will be taking place with the 92 clubs and throughout the football pyramid over the season as the organisation continues to strive to create and ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
A small independent charity, the ‘Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football’ campaign was established in 1993 in response to widespread calls from clubs, players and fans to tackle racist attitudes existing within the game. Kick It Out was then established as a body in 1997 as it widened out its objectives to cover all aspects of inequality and exclusion.
Now in its twenty-second year, you can find out more about them and their work by visiting www.kickitout.org
