Striker Answers Quick-Fire Questions

Danny Philliskirk didn't take long to open his account for Blackpool after completing a move from Oldham Athletic in January.

Here the striker, who has four goals for The Seasiders and 11 in total this season, reveals a bit more about himself. 

If you were the dressing room DJ, what three songs would be on your pre-match playlist?

Gorgon City – Go All Night, Low Steppa – So Real, and Justin Bieber is always on in the dressing room so the boys have got me into that. 

What is your favourite piece of football memorabilia that you own?

My England Under-17 shirts. I’ll look to get them framed at some point.

Favourite away stadium that you like playing at?

I played at Anfield in the FA Cup in front of 42,000, so I’d say Anfield.

To date, what is your most embarrassing moment in football?

Being subbed off in the first-half when I was younger at Oldham after we went down to 10 men. I was more frustrated than embarrassed.

What is the best sporting event that you’ve watched live?

The Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester United in Moscow.

What were your first pair of football boots?

Copa Mundials that were supposed to be for my dad. 

What TV series are you addicted to currently?

I like The Walking Dead.
