Defender Returns To TrainingLloyd Jones has reported back to first-team training with Blackpool today, Neil McDonald has confirmed.
The defender, who sustained knee and ankle damage in September, has fully recovered from injury and will now resume his season-long loan from Liverpool.
"He's come bouncing in with all his boots and everything and has a huge, big smile on his face," the manager said. "He's played a couple of games for Liverpool's under-21s and he's ready and raring to go.
"He thoroughly enjoyed himself here before he got injured and he'll now be back with us until the end of the season."
The 20-year-old's return proves timely ahead of the weekend's game at Millwall, strengthening the team's defensive options with Clark Robertson set to fill in at left-back for the suspended David Ferguson.
"We'll deal with the suspension like we did when Will got sent off for his two yellow cards. We'll just adjust the back four and look to be nice and solid like we were on Tuesday night.
"Lloyd's put his hand up and said he's ready so we'll have a look at him in training and see exactly where he is," he added.
