Preview
With both sides in the thick of the battle to avoid relegation from League One, Blackpool’s trip to Doncaster Rovers on Easter Monday could have huge implications on their season.

The Seasiders are sat two points above their opponents, who sit in the relegation zone after a poor run of form but with an additional game to play on Blackpool.

Neil McDonald’s men were pegged back by Bury on Good Friday but still took a point for their efforts, meaning they’re unbeaten in two, after victory over Crewe Alexandra on their last away outing.

The Opposition
Doncaster enter the fixture without a win in their last 13 League One matches, picking up just three points in that period.

Furthermore, Rovers are without a home win since before Christmas, and it’s that form which has seen Darren Ferguson’s side slip into the bottom four.

On Good Friday they suffered a heavy defeat at basement club Colchester United. Gary McSheffrey’s debut goal put Doncaster ahead but the hosts hit four goals in response.

Team News
Jack Redshaw returns from suspension for Blackpool, while David Ferguson and John Herron will hope to feature after recovering from injury. Uche Ikpeazu is expected to miss out.

Doncaster have Luke McCullough back available after he missed Friday’s defeat while on international duty. Loanees Conor Grant and Lynden Gooch remain out.

Pre-Match Quotes
McDonald: “The win against Crewe gives us a lot of confidence away from home, we have improved our away from by picking up points here and there. We have to capitalise on Doncaster's nerves at home and take advantage of that as much as we possibly can.”

Ferguson: “We’re on an horrendous run and we get out of it by showing some character and a bit of fight. They’ll try to play on the fact we took a hammering and are obviously nervous, so the start to the game will be important.”
