Cullen's Injury Absence Confirmed

6 May 2016

Striker Ruled Out

Mark Cullen will miss Blackpool's final game of the season at Peterborough United on Sunday due to injury.

The striker, who has scored nine goals this season, was sent for a scan on his hamstring earlier this week after an industrious personal performance against Wigan Athletic was halted at a key stage in the match.

"He was proving a right handful for the Wigan defenders for the amount of time he was on but we didn't get the goal," manager Neil McDonald said.

"He's pulled his hamstring so he's going to be out for quite a while and misses the last game of the season. We'll have to make at least one change there."
